  1. When you want to speculate on the underlying asset going downwards, you would take the short side of the trade.

  2. Go short on E-mini SP500, E-mini Nasdaq 100, E-mini Dow, or E-mini Russell 2000 Index futures.
    Leverage is about 11 to 1 or so.
