My mentor likes me, and he's 20 years older. I'm scare.?
I been following a mentor for 2 months and work with him. I learn business trade from him. we became good friend. but I was shocked he told me he likes me. I got so scare, and see that he is creepy. He mistaken our friendship into romance. He knows my parents’ number. I’m afraid that he will call them and tell them what happened. cause it will be embarrassing. Should I tell my parents? By the way I’m 25. I told everyone that my mentor is a smart business man. And now he’s a creepy guy I’m trying to stay away from. If anyone knows this will be embarrassing.
He is creepy because he is insane!!! Last g.f. he has similar situation, I didn’t know until I asked him. But she was his girl friend for a while. then he went to Chicago to have a fight with that guy.
He knows where I live too.
What should the Cardinals do about Matt Leinart?
It is clear that going into the Super Bowl, Kurt Warner is the Cardinals’ main man, even though Lienart was a first round 2006 draft pick. With time running out on Warner’s career, what should the Cardinals do about Lienart? Keep him as a backup for the remainder of his contract or cut/trade him and get a new QB while Warner is still there and have Warner mentor the new QB in?
Friendly Stranger that’s it, the longer a quarterback sits on the bench the more he rots, so to speak. Aaron Rodgers was the exception to this rule. I believe a QB has to work himself into his prime and not just ascend by age.
I have a clothing line, I sell to personal clients but want to sell to retail stores! I also need a mentor.?
Allow me to explain….
I have a popular upcoming women’s clothing line in my city [many people know of the brand due to fashion shows, magazine features, internet, and promo]. I understand the trade, I have a manufacturer who can produce small quantities 10+. I have a printer who can provide steady promo material to drive sales higher- marketing/advertising. I have a great website [needs to be updated], a trendy, fashion forward easy to produce line with amazing fabric choice. I have a Rep team in the U.S. and Canada who are willing to assist in sales/promo once I can get this going on my own to start.
My questions are…
1. Is there anyone that will be my mentor?
Someone who has experience in Buying wholesale, from suppliers…… Maybe a retail store owner who can answer my questions and is interested in being on my Board of Directors?
2. What are the key points in selling to retail/consignment stores etc?

How difficult would it be to start a career in photography?
I mean, I don’t know if I want to change my career this late in my life. I am 30 years old and established in my present career. But I would really love to be a photographer in some capacity. I have been interested in being a professional photographer for the past 8 years. I’ve only just now made it a serious hobby and I’m pretty good with a 35mm SLR but I want to switch to digital and learn photoshop. I’m taking a digital photography workshop this spring to get started. If there are any professionals established in the business reading this, are there any directions or advice you could offer me? My Uncle shoots professionally after pretty much teaching himself the trade, I can’t get a hold of him nowadays, but I’d love to know is it better to have some sort of formal education or learn through experience, or both? If I need the formal education, how much? I thank anyone with input in advance.
Also, I’d love to mentor with anyone who has the time.
Wow, that’s a lot of info, thanks everyone. To be a little more specific, I love photographing cityscapes and landscapes. I’m also interested in wedding and portrait work as well as architecture and automotive. To tell you the truth, I love to take pictures of just about everything.
I don’t think I’m too old to learn neccessarily, I just want to transition into photography while continuing to do what I do now. I mean I like what I do and I’m good at it, I’m an electronics technician, but I’m nowhere near as passionate about it as I am photography.
What are the thoughts of other Cowboys fans with their recent additions to the team today?
They signed Keith Brooking, who I think could be able to shore up the middle spot should we lose Zach Thomas. Also, I think he’ll be a good mentor for the younger guys on defense. As far as Kitna(who we traded Anthony Henry for) goes, I think it was an OK move. I mean, Kitna isn’t the worst QB in the league, but he’s far from the best. What are your thoughts?
Also, is it true that Brian Westbrook got cut by Philadelphia & is going to Denver? I think I heard that somewhere.
Blazers can grow up by trading down?
The youngest team in the NBA needs more experience, and growth, and some patience with itself, and maybe a uniform re-design. But what the Portland Trail Blazers absolutely do not need is to get younger.
Which is why Tuesday’s draft lottery is a formality for the Blazers.
Portland needs to trade its 2008 draft pick.
The Blazers have a 97.82 percent chance of ending up with the No. 13 or No. 14 pick, and since there are only two impact players in this draft (Memphis’ Derrick Rose and Kansas State’s Michael Beasley), the decision-makers at One Center Court should be plotting a manner in which to avoid adding another guaranteed contract to the roster.
It’s in General Manager Kevin Pritchard’s nature to be active. This is a guy who tied the NBA record for trades in a single day (six) during his first few months on the job. And so now he’s charged with getting rid of what will probably be a marginal pick in the first round.
I keep hearing that former Lake Oswego High School star Kevin Love (of UCLA) would look great in black and red as a professional, but sentimental wishes aside, every Blazers fan understands that what the franchise needs most right now is to get older.
Understand, you can make a case that the team’s most valuable presence last season was small forward James Jones. Brandon Roy was the All-Star, but what Jones brought was wisdom, experience, game savvy, and a calming, veteran presence when things felt like they were crumbling all around.
Coach Nate McMillan said, over and over, that having Jones available was like "having an assistant on the floor." And if you cared to watch the Blazers bench during games, especially when Jones was out with an injury, you’d have seen him cupping his hands around his mouth, shouting instructions.
Jones stabilized things. He taught the young players how to respond, and react, when things weren’t going well. He became a mentor, too.
The Blazers aren’t going to get that from a 2008 draft pick.
Pritchard told local reporters Thursday that the team would wait for the draft lottery, and then, explore "all options." But aside from landing either Beasley or Rose, the only good option is to trade out of the first round and not take a player till the second round, when selections receive non-guaranteed contracts.
I know what you’re thinking, the Blazers plucked a serviceable Zach Randolph with the No. 19 pick in 2001. San Antonio’s Tony Parker was the No. 28 pick in the same draft. There are good values in the late lottery all over the league, but the Blazers are already adding a healthier Greg Oden, and by all accounts, they’ll get European star Rudy Fernandez as well.
The last thing Portland needs is a first-round project that will eat up roster space, take away salary-cap flexibility and inhibit the important moves Pritchard needs to make in the summer of 2009. The Blazers keep talking about their window of opportunity as it relates to Roy and Oden, and maybe, too, LaMarcus Aldridge. So the real need now becomes one of chemistry, and growth, and patience.
I suppose the temptation will be for the Blazers’ scouting staff to believe they’ve done their homework and funneled all the data into the computer software they’re using, and that they’re confident they can identify 10-15 players in this draft who will have productive NBA careers. But if the franchise wants to maintain maximum flexibility, and promote maximum growth, the front office should resist the urge to prove how smart it is when it comes to identifying personnel and instead trade the pick.
